When you use ZennPay, we collect information such as your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, and identity verification (KYC) documents. We also collect transaction data — transfers, wallet funding, bill payments, invoices, and vouchers you initiate — along with device and usage information to help secure your account.
We use your information to create and manage your account, process transactions, verify your identity as required by Nigerian financial regulations, prevent fraud, provide customer support, and improve ZennPay's services.
We share information with the payment gateways you choose to fund your wallet through — including Paystack, Flutterwave, and Monnify — solely to process those transactions. We may also share information with regulators or law enforcement where required by law, or with service providers who help us operate ZennPay, under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including two-factor verification, to help protect your account and personal information. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to keep your login credentials and verification codes private.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with Nigerian financial recordkeeping and anti-money-laundering regulations.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our regulatory recordkeeping obligations, by contacting support@zennpay.net.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes through the app or by email.
